Mental Health Services

Aadhar is dedicated to promoting mental and emotional wellbeing and providing accessible resources for individuals and families.

How Aadhar Helps

Aadhar (from the Hindi word आधार that means support) is committed to providing high-quality mental and behavioral health services to individuals regardless of ability to pay, place of residence, or experience of homelessness. Aadhar will waive or reduce fees for individuals experiencing financial hardship in accordance with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) sliding fee discount schedule, ensuring equitable and fair access to services.

We serve individuals ages 4 and older, providing support for those seeking treatment for mental health and/or substance use needs.

About Aadhar

Aadhar is a non-profit initiative dedicated to promoting mental and emotional wellbeing. We connect individuals and families with accessible, evidence-based care, counseling, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, case management, workshops, and community resources. Our mission is to make support humane, affordable, and easy to navigate for all ages and backgrounds.

Aadhar collaborates with the North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA) which allows it to reach more individuals and families with the care they deserve.

We accept Medicaid as well as most major commercial insurance plans. For those who qualify, we also offer no-cost services based on financial eligibility—because access to mental health care matters.

“I created Aadhar to foster a supportive community for those who are facing mental health challenges and might not have the resources to address it.”
